Vikki & Dan

To say that family means the world to this couple doesn't really do it justice. I listened to them exchange their vows honouring the life they have built together, pledging their future to their children. As always, I stood in emotional awe of two people committing themselves to each word.

I think that's why I've chosen to share lots of the moments of the littlest guests, because I know those photos will have meant so much.

Best laid plans...

This beautiful day had an unusual start, with the whole hotel on lockdown due to a chemical spillage in the spa next door. Police, ambulances, fire engines, and hotel staff arriving with fans to help with the heat now that the windows were forcibly closed.

The wonderful cake maker @ delivering her beautiful cake, stuck in the heat sent us all into a bit of a panic. But the cake made it into the zircon, the road was reopened, everyone was safe and sound and the registrar and thankfully the groom made it through.

I say embrace the unique little moments, they are part of your story, they will be retold at family parties for years to come.

What a gift.

I think the biggest thing I felt while sharing Vikki and Dan's wedding day was unity. As a couple they are a team. They work together, they have built a life and family together. The support each other, without any selfish expectation. Really that is the perfect foundation for married life, knowing that you enter your future together with a partner who has you, everyday. 8 billion people, and you've been given that gift.

"I got so excited looking at the photos and sending them on to family that I forgot to message you back! You are amazing! I love them so much. I can't tell you how highly our guests spoke of you and how positive all the feedback has been of your photos! Smashed it Girl! xx" - Vikki Brodie
